Motueka High School - Adult Community Education

Adult Education Class Cuts

Adult Community Education programmes offered through secondary schools have been dealt a severe blow after the budget revealed that current funding for such programmes would be withdrawn from January 2010.

Motueka High School no longer offers an ACE programme from 2010.

The priority areas of provision are well catered for in the community and the Board did not wish to duplicate these services. The ACE Advisory Committee did not believe self funded classes would be viable or sustainable in Motueka.

Evening Classes 2010

Both Waimea and Nayland Colleges offer evening classes this year. To find out specific details go to their websites or phone the school office.
